you know when you are somewhere at sometime, and you feel that hey this has never happened before, but you clearly remember it happening. and it freaks you out. sometimes its a vague feeling, and sometimes its really strong like today, i could practically predict what i was going to see for awhile. lasts usually round 2-15 seconds for me.

i don’t know why this happens, maybe i’m crazy, or maybe there really are more then 3 dimensions.

Not saying that I deserve any.

During CE today I was miserable as always, and when I least expected it, I received praise from someone equally unexpected (that being Kieran). Well it wasn’t really a phrase he just used me as an example for a MEEK person. Which we were discussing about in a positive sense of the word. Even if he just picked me because he wanted to get his turn over with and I was sitting next to him, I felt good for a while.

Yea and I felt really bad later when he realized his bag was locked in the room we were using. He went down earlier to look after the sec 1s, and when the sec 4s vacated none of us bothered to do him that simple favour. I was so caught up in my own shit that I just left the room, only thinking about myself.. so yes I am shitted up. Ok irrelevant.

I mean these things come naturally in western countries (America) as can be observed from such people I met. But in Singapore.. you’d be weird to add a positive adjective in every two sentences. I guess cynicism comes with a fast-paced environment and life. We lose sight of these little things, as well as many other beautiful things in our everyday lives that we take for granted.

So on the way home, I told my mom about some results I got back that were.. well way better than the stuff I usually get. But instead of showing any form of encouragement she went on about how I mumble.. and when I told her her necklace was nice, she just daoed and went on about how I shouldn’t keep switching songs on the player. Yea I just bummed out after that..

So IMO in some cases, white lies should be justifiable. Humans are vain creatures. We enjoy listening to flattering stuff, not splattering stuff. Being honest is good yes, but in some cases if it would bring about so much more harm I say don’t say anything, or at least don’t be direct. yes it’s good to see our own flaws, but having too much to take could cloud that. After all in some cases.. honesty kills.
